Former Harrogate Town AFC Press Officer and Wetherby Athletic AFC Head Of Media Communications Pete Arnett has joined Kirk Deighton Rangers as their first ever Media Officer.
Following a combined 11 year stint at both clubs, Pete took a break from football to recharge his batteries, but Manager Dan Marshall and Chairman Dan Jones kept a close eye on his progress and when the news arrived that the local media man might be looking to return, they made their moves straight away.
"It's always important for a club to look forward and we saw and liked what Pete did at Wetherby Athletic and our players said that we should get someone here to do the same. Fortunately for us, I was able to get Pete to join us after his break, and we are very happy that he chose us over a couple of higher placed teams who were also after him."
Dan Jones (Chairman)
Commenting on what Dan said, Pete added,
"It's great to be back in the game again. After having a break, I realised that I did miss it, probably more than I expected to be honest and it came down to three clubs who had expressed an interest. However Dan was the first to strike and sold me on where he wanted Rangers to go and how they operated as a whole unit. It's going to be an exciting challenge as they haven't much in the way of media presence, so it will be good to watch as it builds.
I was very lucky to have some good times at both Harrogate Town and Wetherby Athletic and will look to bring the same kind of representation to Rangers. All I can say is keeping watching!!"

Hopefully, there will be a whole load of new visual material coming soon for all fans of Kirk Deighton Rangers to enjoy.
Exciting times await!
