A West Yorkshire League Trophy second round tie awaits our Reserves tomorrow, and it's a journey over to Old Earth to play Alliance Division One side Huddersfield Amateur Reserves.
The match has a 2 pm kick-off, and the weather is forecast to be plenty of sunny intervals.
The Opposition.
As already mentioned, our hosts play in the Division above our Reserves and are currently in 13th place with 12 points from a possible 42.
At home, Huddersfield Amateur Reserves have a decent record, having won three of the seven games that they have played. They have scored 18 goals (avg. 2.6 goals scored per home game) and conceded 29 goals (avg. 4.1 goals conceded per home game)
Looking at the FA website, their leading goalscorer is a tie between Jonny Crowther and James Greenwood who have scored eight each.
In the first round of the Trophy, they beat Ilkley Town Reserves in a ten goal thriller!
Head To Head.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
Team News For Rangers.
Kris Macdonald will take a strong squad over to Huddersfield, as this will be a stern test. With Vito D'Avanzo back, it will allow the management more options in attack, and with Will Hodson looking for his tenth goal, hopefully, we will see plenty of goals for Rangers!
The Man In The Middle.
The referee for this match is Mr Ashraff Pandor. This will be his sixth game of the season with another seven as an assistant referee. At present, his stats show that he has issued just a single yellow card in his matches in charge.
Following The Game.
