Kirk Deighton Rangers v Hartshead Match Preview.

Tomorrow sees the first game of the new decade as we welcome Hartshead to Barr Field.

The match kicks off at 2 pm, and a light cloud is forecast to accompany the game.

The Opposition.

Hartshead are a notoriously difficult team to play and are capable of beating anyone on their day. At present they sit in eighth place in the league. A win could lift them into seventh, just behind us. However, if we get the points, we could move into second place if other results fall our way.

On their travels, Hartshead have lost just one of the five games they have played. These results include a 2-1 win over Shelley and 3-2 victory over Aberford Albion.

Our visitors have scored fourteen goals on the road, averaging 2.8 goals scored per away game. They have a mean defence, conceding just ten goals, averaging 2.0 goals conceded per away game.

Head To Head.

This will be the fourth time that the teams have met. At present, we lead the way with three wins, with the last one being a narrow 2-1 win in August (both goals came from Charlie Yates). The last meeting at Barr Field (2nd March 2019) also ended in a 2-1 win with goals coming from Rob Holliday and Will Bates.

Team News For Rangers.

Just as with the recent derby game against Wetherby, we may still be without the services of both Charlie Yates and Josh Bhandal. However, Manager Dan Marshall and his assistants David Campbell and Ben Lawrence will run the rule over several players before naming their final team.

With the recent addition of Harrogate Town under 21 player Sam Richardson, we may see some more of what this player can do tomorrow.

One player that will be missing due to suspension will be Joe Barden, who is serving the last of his two game ban.

The Man In The Middle.

Mr Jason Payne will be the referee for this contest. Mr Payne has already governed two of our matches this season when he was in charge of the games against Featherstone Colliery and Shelley.

During his nine games as a referee this season, Mr Payne has sent three players to the Sin-Bin, shown six yellow cards and dismissed three.

Following The Game.

Our media team will be at the match, so if you can't make it but would like to keep up-to-date with the score, please log onto our Twitter feed.

We will be open an hour before the match starts. Our clubhouse will be ready to serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks should you want one before kick-off.

If you have any spare change that you would like to donate, we will have our prostate Cancer UK collection boxes around the clubhouse. You can also buy one of their great Men United Pin Badges for a pound from these boxes as well.

We are also accepting donations for the Wetherby and District Foodbank. Please see any of our club officials who will take your generous donation.

We will be presenting our Bennett & Fountain Man Of The Match award to the winning Kirk Deighton Rangers player after the match. Please stay and give the winner your congratulations.
