A 95th minute goal by Paul Donnelly was enough to give Knaresborough Town Reserves a 2-1 win at Manse Lane last night.
An early strike by Stephen Walker set the hosts on their way, but a superb volley from Charlie Yates saw Rangers draw level just after half-time.
Despite both sides going close and the game being an extremely tight affair, it came down to the last kick of the game when Donnelly steered home following a free-kick.
This now means that we have been eliminated from all cup competitions this season, but our Reserves are still flying the flag in the Hulme Cup!
We would like to say good luck to Knaresborough in the future rounds.
