For the first time since the 14th of March 2020, Rangers return to the pitch when they take on Garforth LG FC at Fleet Lane on Tuesday (kick-off 8 pm).

Our hosts will be undertaking their first season in the York Minster League Division 3 this campaign. Their Reserves will also be playing the York Minster Reserves League 3.

With this being the first time that the two teams have met, it looks like being a competitive fixture, which is what both sides need.

Team News

Rangers will be taking over a strong squad that may include the returning Roman Neal, Jon Richards and Danny Grannon. We may also see some new faces as the Management cast their eyes over some trialists.

One To Watch

Having a look through Garforth's squad list, one name that jumps out is former Bradford (Park Avenue) midfielder Matty James. A tricky player with plenty of skills, James also has an eye for goal.
