Rangers head over to Hanson Field this Saturday to play Rawdon Old Boys in their second pre-season match.

The game starts at 2 pm, but following current guidelines, there are no spectators allowed.

A team that we know well from our Harrogate league days, Rawdon also had a successful start to their pre-season games, beating Calverley United 4-1.

Before Covid-19 struck, they were one place above us in fourth, level on points, but with a better goal difference.

At present, our database shows eleven meetings between the clubs with Rawdon holding a 6-4 lead in wins.

Team News

There will not be many changes from the squad that beat Garforth LG FC 5-1 on Tuesday night, but Assistant Manager Ben Lawrence did confirm that some players that didn't play that evening will get game time.

Rawdon Old Boys have quality all over the pitch, so Rangers will have to be on their guard in all sectors. Lewis Nightingale scored twice against Calverley, and new boys Tom Boldy and Eliot Goldthorp impressed.
