Saturday offers Rangers the sternest test of our pre-season campaign as we welcome top Humber Premier Division side South Cave United to Barr Field (kick-off 2:30 pm)

Following F.A guidelines, spectators are welcome to view this match. Please register on arrival by using our track and trace book (located in the bar) and following the one-way system which is signed. Please also remember to maintain social distancing during the game.

South Cave.

Our opponents certainly have a quality about them, and the 30th August 2020 saw a full calendar year pass since they lost in the Humber league!

Unfortunately, the Humber League's F.A. league table has been reset, and it can't be seen where South Cave was when football stopped. However, with an unbeaten record, it is safe to say they would have been top or thereabouts.

One To Watch.

Not much is known about South Cave's pre-season campaign except for a 1-1 draw against North Ferriby that they played at the beginning of August.

Due to this, it's hard to say who Rangers should be especially wary of, but it does sound like they have quality all over the place, so it promises to be a great game.

Dan Marshall and his management team are still looking at partnerships and positions on the pitch, so we may see some more changes ahead of the season opener.
