Finally, the time has come for our pre-season to start! This Saturday at Finkle Hill, Kris Macdonald will see his new-look Rangers side take to the pitch in a friendly match against Sherburn White Rose.

The game starts at 1 pm, and if the MET weather app is correct, the weather should be 18 degrees C and sunny!

Our hosts will start the new season in Division Two following their relegation, but at this stage, this means nothing, and both teams will be looking to bed in new players and tactics. It should be a good game as both teams have a 'play football properly' attitude.

Macdonald will take a good-sized squad over to Sherburn, and it will be a mixture of first and second-team players. The gaffer will also be looking to give game time to several new faces as the management look to analyse their options.
