Our Reserves hit the road tomorrow as they make the journey to Finkle Hill to take on fellow Alliance Division Two side Sherburn White Rose Reserves.
The match has a 7pm kick-off time and a look ahead at the weather shows that it should be played in a sunny climate!
Last season saw Rangers lock horns with Sherburn twice and it was Kris Macdonald’s men who enjoyed maximum points courtesy of a 3-1 (Danny Grannon with a brace and Rob Holliday) home win and a 4-2 (Danny Gore with two, Phil Turner and Alex Wooler) away win.
In the league, our hosts finished in 9th position thanks to a record of 12 wins, 3 draws and 13 defeats. At home, White Rose won 10 (joint highest in the league), drew 2 and lost 2. They scored and impressive 47 goals (avg. 3.4 goals per game) whilst conceding 26 (avg. 1.9 goals per game).
Following their cancelled game last week against Kirkby Malzeard, this game gives the lads a good opportunity to get quality minutes under their belts against an opposition that will certainly test them in every areas.
If you wish to go to this game, then the address that you will need is Finkle Hill, Recreation Ground, Sherburn-in-Elmet LS25 6EL.
Unfortunately, due to work commitments, there will be no media at this match. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
