To be able to buy toys from a list created by children who are sick and staying at Martin House was a privilege and what the Christmas spirit is all about.
Rich Strike - Chairman
Chairman Rich Strike and his son Rory along with striker Will Hodson and Media Officer Pete Arnett delivered some festive cheer to Martin House Hospice when they dropped off a whole host of presents.
The club, along with generous sponsors Hunters Estate and Letting Agents, purchased almost £300.00 worth of toys and equipment including dolls, PS4 controllers, gaming headsets, hypoallergenic pillows, mirrors, docking stations for PS4's/X-Box's and board games for the children and families to use.
Martin House Hospice provides family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support families from across West, North and East Yorkshire, both at the hospice and in the community. Please visit their website to see what they offer and the truly awe-inspiring work that they do by clicking here.
As a club, although we are not the size of our neighbouring professional ones, we can still help our local community, and it was our honour to be able to donate these gifts.

Yesterday was an incredibly humbling experience for me and the club. To be able to buy toys from a list created by children who are sick and staying at Martin House was a privilege and what the Christmas spirit is all about. Martin House is a fantastic charity so any little joy we can bring to a poorly child at this time of year makes me very proud.
We would also like to say a massive thank you to Justin Johnson and the staff at Hunters for their kind donation as well.
