As part of our commitment to improve the facilities at Barr Field, we are very pleased to reveal that in the very near future we will be having fibre optic broadband installed in our clubhouse!

Local company touch Telecom will be installing the equipment, and making sure that it all runs smoothly.

Speaking about this improvement. Chairman Richard Strike said: "I am really pleased that the club are getting up to speed with technology by having fibre optic broadband installed. In this day and age, the world is run by the internet so it is a must have in my opinion.

It’s the little things like our iZettle card machine card can now function without the use of tethering to a mobile phone which can be problematic.

I would like to thank Jamie of touch Telecom as he was very knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. I’m all for helping out with local businesses, so to have such a fantastic service on our doorstep was very fortunate."
