We are very pleased to announce that striker Joe Wilks has agreed to come back to Barr Field and has signed for the new season.
Joe, who hit a brace at the weekend against Steeton AFC (see our videos page here to view the goals) has had an excellent pre-season for Rangers so far, and his joining the club is a massive boost for all.
Already well known to Rangers fans as he was part of the treble winning side of 2016/2017, Joe brings a huge wealth of experience, having played at North East Counties league level with Albion Sports last season and Brigg Town before that.
Speaking about his new signing, Manager Dan Marshall said:
We're delighted Joe has chosen to sign for us for the coming season, he was a huge part of our treble winning side two years ago and last year had a very successful season at Albion Sports in the NECL where he was voted their players player. Joe has many qualities and will add to the talented group we have assembled for the fourth-coming season.
