Following two hard weekends for our Second-Team in the league, they have a break and a chance to progress in the League Trophy should they beat Aberford Albion Reserves.
The match has a 2 pm kick-off time, and a look at the MET Weather forecast shows clouds with the occasional sunny spell.
The Opposition.
Our hosts also play in the Alliance Division 1 and are in seventh position in the table with ten points from a possible 21. They have won and lost three matches, with an extra point courtesy of a 3-3 draw with Altofts FC Reserves.
Goals wise, Aberford have scored 29 times and conceded 31. Their leading goalscorer is Callum Scott, who has an impressive 17 goals to his name already!
Previous Meetings.
Our last meetings took place in the 2017/18 season when we enjoyed two victories over Aberford, although they did have the last laugh finishing one place above us in third to gain promotion to the top Alliance Division.
Squad News.
At the time of writing this, Kris Macdonald has a 16 man squad ready to travel to Bunkers Hill. Liam Dean will be back to help lead the attack following his first-team endeavours against Linthwaite Athletic, and Andy Maxted continues his comeback following his absence from football.
