It's a tough match for our first team as they head to the Slazenger Sports Complex to play league leaders Horbury Town.

The match has a 2:30 pm kick-off time, and the MET app indicates a dry and pleasant day for football.

Our Opponents.

Horbury have had a fantastic start to the season and still have a 100% win record. In their opening five games, they have seen off the challenges of Knaresborough Town, Beeston St Anthony, Boroughbridge AFC, Headingley AFC and Field FC.

It comes as no surprise to see one of the Bojang’s lead the way in their goalscoring chart. Having netted an impressive six times already, Gibril is head and shoulders above the others, with Saif Akbar and Luke Playford behind him on three each.

Squad News.

As it stands, Manager Dan Marshall sees his squad depleted in numbers due to absence and injuries. Jonty Smith should return between the sticks, and there may be a couple of other players returning from injury available.
