After almost a month away from Barr Field, Rangers finally return home with a West Yorkshire Premier League match against Huddersfield Amateur on Saturday.

Kick-Off is at 2:30 pm, and the weather is forecast to be pretty decent, with temperatures between 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Our Opponents.

Huddersfield arrive at Kirk Deighton off the back of a heavy 7-1 defeat against Hall Green United, but before that, they had gone eight matches unbeaten and had lifted themselves into sixth place with 51 points from a possible 87. They have won 15 games, drawn six, and lost eight.

Our visitors have scored 71 times (averaging 2.4 goals per game) and conceded 50 (averaging 1.7 goals per game). Slater Barnes is their leading scorer, with 28 goals.

Previous Meetings.

This game is only the second time the two teams have met, with the first being a 2-0 defeat back in October 2021.

Squad News.

With several players still absent through injury, the last thing that the management wanted to see was Conor Buckley limp off the pitch last weekend! Manager Dan Marshall and his team will have to give a few fitness tests before they decide who plays and where!

Mr Brandon Blackham, Mr Nigel Bannister and Mr Sergio Galasso are the officials for this game. We hope that they have a pleasant time at Barr Field.
