Finally, football is back for us, as our second team returns to action this Saturday when they travel to play Polonia Yorkshire Reserves at the West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club in Wakefield.

Kick-off time is 2:30 pm, and it's forecast to be a warm day: suncream, hats and plenty of drinks may be needed!

This game will be our first pre-season match after a bumpy few weekends, which saw the cancellation of a few contests. Having met before a couple of campaigns ago, we know that we face a skilful and physical side, and they will present a test for our lads.

Little is known about our opponents, mainly because they are a newly formed side. Their first team finished third in the competitive Wakefield & District League Division One last season, and this highlights the quality that they have.

Squad News

Manager Kris Macdonald has a good selection of players at his disposal and hopes to take a good-sized squad over to Wakefield. At this moment, it's about getting game time for the players and minutes in the tank. We don't expect any new faces to be in the squad at present, but this could change.
