Rangers return to Barr Field this Saturday looking to put last Saturday's 4-2 defeat behind them. However, it's the league leaders that are visiting as we welcome Rawdon Old Boys.

The match starts at 2:30 pm, and it might well be a wet afternoon as rain is forecast.

Without a doubt, Rawdon are one of the hardest teams to face in our division. Fast on the attack and difficult to breakdown, they contain all the attributes that title-challenging teams need.

Rawdon sit at the top of the table following five wins and a defeat. In the process, they have scored 22 goals and conceded 8.

This will be the second time we have faced them this season, with a friendly match ending 2-1 to us (Craig Hall and Jake Little). However, a look at the Deighton Database shows that we have played each other at least 11 times over the years. At the moment, we have four wins to Rawdon's six!

The management team will be running several late fitness checks on players due to the several injuries received against G&C Hartshead last week. Due to this, Manager Dan Marshall will wait until the last possible moment to name his squad.

Mr Haim Fiterman is the match official for this game. This is his first match in charge this season.
