The Opposition.
Our hosts have had a very tough time recently with the sudden death of one of their players, Nicholas Wade, before Christmas. As a club, we continue to send our condolences and sympathies at this sad time.
Wyke, at present, are in 14th position in the league. On their home pitch, they have three wins, one draw and five defeats this season. Their last match at Whitechapel Road saw them beat East End Park 2-0.
Goals wise, Wyke has scored 15 goals, averaging 1.7 goals scored per home game, and conceded 17, averaging 1.9 goals conceded per home game.
Ashley Andrews leads Wyke's goalscoring charts with four goals, while Joshua Hainsworth and Stephen Smith have three.
Head To Head.
This will be the first time that the two teams have met each other.
Team News For Rangers.
Hopefully, this will be one of the few matches where Manager Dan Marshall has almost a full-strength squad to choose from. With Josh Bhandal, Charlie Yates and Ali Thompson all back from injury, it may well be that the Gaffer has a headache with his starting XI!
The Man In The Middle.
Mr Ashraff Pandor is the referee for this match. This will be his seventh match in charge, with another eight as Assistant Referee. His stats, according to the FA Full-Time website are one player sent to the Sin-Bin, three yellow cards shown and one player dismissed.
