Sunday football sees our Veterans side flying the flag for KDR as they travel over to Leeds to take on Amaranth Manstonians in this Harrogate & District Veterans 11-a-side Championship league match. Kick-off is set for 2pm and unlike their Saturday counterparts, this game should be played under a fine and occasionally sunny day!

It’s been about three weeks since the Veterans last had a game and they are desperate to not only get out on the pitch and get some more minutes under their belts, but to wipe away the memory of the 4-1 defeat that they suffered against Harrogate Veterans Over 50’s in their opening game.

Like us, Amaranth have only played one game so far, but they did secure all three points thanks to an excellent 2-0 win over Harrogate Veterans almost a month ago! A win for us could see us potentially move into fourth place, whilst a defeat could leave us rooted to the bottom of the table!
