Despite the cancellation against Seacroft WMC on Sunday, our Veteran's side is quickly back in action as they travel over to Finkle Hill to play Sherburn White Rose Veterans tomorrow (KO 7:30 pm).
The Opponents.
Sherburn will, without a doubt, be one of the hardest opponents that we have faced in this mini-campaign. They are a very skilful and determined side and will be focused on getting maximum points.
Before football stopped, Sherburn sat in second place in the Premiership, just two points behind Harrogate Veterans.
Previous Meetings.
It's been a while since the two sides have met, but the last game between the two sides ended in a 3-3 draw at Barr Field in May 2018. In fact, draws appear to be a speciality, as the match at Finkle Hill that season ended as a 4-4 result!
Team News.
Due to several injuries, joint managers Steve Smith and Rob Stabler will be without a few key players. Richard Hope is also out due to personal reasons.
