Preview: Wetherby Athletic Veterans

It's the local derby today at Barr Field as Wetherby Athletic Veterans are the visitors in the next group game in the FM Cup.

Kick-Off is 2:00 pm, but under Government guidelines, spectators are unable to watch this match.

The Opposition.

Like our last opposition Thirsk, Wetherby competes in the Harrogate & District Veterans 11-a-side Premier Division. They didn't get off to the best start in this competition when they were beaten 2-0 by Sherburn White Rose Veterans.

However, if there is one thing that we know, they have plenty of talented players, and it will be a good game between two committed sides.

Previous Meetings.

This will be the first time that the two sides have met competitively for quite a while.

Team news.

Joint Managers Rob Stabler and Steve Smith have been forced to make changes from last weeks 3-3 draw against Thirsk due to injuries and absences, but they still have a good pool of players to select from, and it should be a strong squad that they name.
