Match Preview: Ilkley Town Veterans

There’s a smashing cup match tomorrow at Barr Field as we welcome Ilkley Town Veterans in the Harrogate & District Veterans 11-a-side Cup. Kick-off is 2pm and the weather is forecast to be strong winds and light clouds.

It’s been a couple of weeks since our Veterans have taken to the field, but they will be looking to make it three games unbeaten in a row. Determined not to let this happen is Premier League side Ilkley Town, who will be looking to move into the next round themselves.

At the moment, our visitors sit in seventh place with a total of four points. Away from their home turf, they have gained one point with a 2-2 draw against Thorpe United Veterans. Goals wise, they have scored five times (avg. 1.3 goals scored per away game) but conceded thirteen (avg. 3.3 goals conceded per away game).
