Match Preview: Thirsk Veterans FC

Our Veterans welcome Champions Thirsk Veterans FC to Barr Field tomorrow looking to try and exact a bit of instant revenge over the side that beat them 3-2 last Sunday.

The match has a 2pm kick-off time and the weather should be pretty decent although cold at around 7 degrees C.

Despite taking the match to Thirsk last Sunday and leading 2-1 for a while, the final result belonged to them and as a result, they go up into the Premiership as Champions. However, we will be looking to try and get a result against them to move up the table and gain our best finish in this division.

Away from their ground, Thirsk have chalked up four wins and one defeat. In the process of gaining these 12 points, they have scored 21 goals and conceded just four!
