Preview: Altofts AFC Reserves

After a couple of home defeats, our Second Team take to the road to travel over to Wakefield to take on Altofts FC Reserves at their Community Sports Club home.

The match starts at 2:30 pm, and the weather should be dry with sunny spells.

Our Opponents.

Following draws in all their three league matches, Altofts are in ninth position in the league table. They, like us, exited the League Trophy last weekend at the first hurdle, being beaten 1-0 by Otley Town Reserves. Their leading goalscorer seems to be Carl Stickney, who has two goals.

Squad News.

With Liam Dean called up to the First Team, the management will look to Jack Hancock to continue his excellent form, which has seen him score three goals in his last two outings. With Andy Wort returning from injury last weekend, this will give John-Paul Williams more options in midfield.
