After recharging their batteries for a week, Deighton return to the Barr Field pitch tonight to take on Wakefield-based Beechwood FC.
The kick-off is 7:00 pm, and the weather looks like clouds and temperatures around the 18 degrees C mark.
Our Opponents.
There is little to find about Beechwood FC. Even a google search doesn't turn up much information.
The last recorded team with that name in the Wakefield and District league was Beechwood Santos FC, who won the Premier Division in the 2019/2020 season. However, there is no record of them the following season unless they changed their name.
Squad News.
Manager Kris Macdonald will continue to try and give as many players minutes on the pitch as possible. With this in mind, he has named a 22-man squad for this game.
