Rangers will get another chance to gel as a team on Saturday when they welcome Malt Shovel to Barr Field.

The match starts at 1 pm, and a look at the MET weather app shows that, at present, it will be a sunny day with temperatures of 24 degrees C.

Our opponents have sealed a place in the York Minster Premier Division, having won the Division 1 title last season.

They have a reputation of being a good side, who like to play football, and are capable of scoring goals.

This match will be their first one of the pre-season, so they will want to hit the ground running. However, we will be looking to extend our unbeaten run to three games, so a cracking ninety minutes of football looks to be in store.

As with the other two games, Manager Kris Macdonald and his crew will be looking to give a mixture of First and Second team players a run-out.

At the time of writing this preview, the Gaffer had announced a seventeen-man squad for this game.
