It's another trip over to Bunkers Hill on Saturday as our Second Team take on Aberford Albion Reserves, this time in a West Yorkshire Alliance Division 1 game.
The match has a 2 pm kick-off, but unfortunately, the weather isn't looking good for this encounter with heavy rain and snow forecast!
The Opposition.
Having beaten Aberford recently in the West Yorkshire Trophy, Kris Macdonald will know that his team will have to be on top of their game to get the three points.
Our hosts are in ninth position in the league table with ten points from a possible 21. They have won and lost three matches, with an extra point courtesy of a 3-3 draw with Altofts FC Reserves.
Goals wise, Aberford have scored 29 times and conceded 31. Their leading goalscorer is Callum Scott, who has an impressive 20 goals to his name already in all competitions.
Previous Meetings.
Before our Trophy meeting, our last encounters took place in the 2017/18 season when we enjoyed two victories over Aberford.
Squad News.
Kris Macdonald is forced to make a few changes again due to injuries and players unavailable. Connor Weal, who scored two goals last time the teams met, is unable to play. However, the gaffer may have Ryan McHale or Graham Cowgill to choose from.
Match Official.
Mr Geoffrey Bickerdike is the referee for this game, and this match will be his fourth in charge this season.
Venue.
Should you wish to watch this game, Aberford's address is Bunkers Hill, Main Street, Aberford, LS25 3DF.
