It wasn't a good weekend for our second team being beaten 5-0 by Middleton FC reserves. As such, they will be looking for an instant response on Tuesday night when they welcome Clifford AFC to Barr Field.

The match starts at 7 pm, and it should be a good night weather-wise for football.

Clifford AFC

Our visitors play in Division 2 of the York Minster Engineering League. Like many team's, Covid interrupted their campaign, and last season they only managed to play five games before it stopped.

We know from facing them many times in pre-season that they are a very determined and capable side. Rangers Manager Kris Macdonald will have to make sure that his side matches them in every area on the pitch should we want a favourable outcome.

Team News

Macdonald gave game time to Ollie Pickering, Connor Weal and Ben Theweneti on Saturday and will look to include them again if possible. It was also good to see Jack Abbott back in a blue and white shirt following his injury absence of two years.
