Our First-Team are back on the road on Saturday as they travel over to East Bierley Recreation Ground to take on Gomersal & Cleckheaton.
The match starts at a slightly earlier time of 2 pm, and the weather is forecast to be a mixture of sunny and rainy spells.
The Opposition.
Like us, Gomersal & Cleckheaton (formally known as Hartshead) gained promotion to the top flight at the end of last season.
They have struggled a little to adapt to life in the Premier League, having won just one of their nine games. They have, however, gained three draws, including an impressive 2-2 against former champions Field AFC. So far, they have scored nine times and conceded twenty-five.
Their leading goalscorer is Jack Rogerson, who has five goals in total.
Previous Meetings.
This match will be the first time that we have played Gomersal & Cleckheaton in this form. However, as Hartshead, we have officially played three times (with three meetings being ruled unofficial by Covid-19), with three wins being the outcome for us.
Team News.
With Joe Wilks already ruled out through injury, Manager Dan Marshall has also lost centre-back Luke Dubery for the next four to six weeks through a foot injury. These absences may see Mike McCartney continue his partnership with Ryan O'Donnell in the centre of defence.
Match Officials.
Thomas Lishman, Liam Whiteman and Martin Ohr are the three officials for this game.
Venue.
Should you wish to come and watch the game, the address is East Bierley Recreation Ground, Bradford, BD4 6OU.
