Following a weekend of no football, our Second-Team returns to action this Saturday when they welcome fourth-placed Hunslet Club Reserves to Barr Field.
The match has a 2:30 pm kick-off, and the MET app informs that the weather is a mixture of sun and rain.
The Opposition.
Hunslet come to this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Otley Town Reserves in the West Yorkshire League Trophy. They have had a mixed bag of results in the league over the past month, with a win over Altofts FC Reserves and a defeat against Boroughbridge Reserves.
Hunslet have collected nine wins, two draws and three defeats in the league, giving them 29 points from the 14 games (average of 2.07 points per game). They have scored 39 goals (averaging 2.8 goals scored per game) and conceded 27 (averaging 1.9 goals conceded per game).
Keanan Mannings is Hunslet's leading scorer with 15 goals this season. Behind him is Bryan Goodall, who has 8.
Past Meetings.
This match is only the second time we have come face to face, with the previous meeting ending in a 2-2 draw (goals from Liam Dean and Dan Flynn) at Hunslet in September last year.
Squad News.
Despite having twelve players unavailable, Manager Kris Macdonald has named a fourteen man squad for this game, including Mike Tasker, who returns from injury.
