Hoping to bounce back from last Saturday's 4-0 deafest to Horbury Town, Rangers travel to Manse Lane to take on fourth-placed Knaresborough Town Reserves.
Kick-Off is at 2 pm, and dry and cloudy weather is forecast for the afternoon.
Our Opponents.
Knaresborough have been in the top three positions for most of the season, although a recent defeat against Rawdon and a postponed game have seen them slip to fourth in the league table. They returned to form last Saturday, thumping Ripon City 5-2 in the Harrogate & District Cup.
In the league, Knaresborough have won ten games, drawn one and lost four to gain 31 points from a possible 45. They have scored 39 goals (averaging 2.6 goals per game) and conceded 24 (averaging 1.6 goals per game).
Liam Edmondson is their leading goalscorer with nine goals, but behind him with eight is Harry Raynor, and Paul Atkinson has seven.
Previous Meetings.
According to our database, we have faced Knaresborough Town Reserves at least six times. However, of all these, we have only won once when we beat Town 3-0 in the Whitworth Cup 1st Round in 2016.
Squad News.
Despite the scoreline, Rangers put in a strong performance against Horbury and manager Dan Marshall will be looking for his team to carry on in this way. With several new faces at training midweek, it may be possible that we will see some in the squad for this match.
Match Officials.
Mr Nicholas Greenwood, Mr Bradley Dunne and Mr Skander Gadaleta will be the officials for this game.
Media.
KDR AFC Media will be in attendance for this game. Please see our Twitter feed for match updates.
