Following last Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Beeston St Anthonys, Manager Dan Marshall will be looking for his side to make a return to winning ways against Whitkirk Wanderers tomorrow.

The game has a 2 pm kick-off time at the Whitkirk Social & Sports Club. It will be warm clothes and boots as the weather will be wet and windy!

Our Opponents.

We enjoyed a 4-1 against Whitkirk in our second match of the season, but since then, they have greatly improved and moved out of the bottom three, so we are under no illusions that this will be a much harder match than before.

At present, they are in 13th place with nine points. They have two wins under their belts, including an impressive 2-1 victory over Field and a 6-0 mauling of Boroughbridge.

Whitkirk's leading scorer is Willfred Frimpong, with nine goals. He is followed by Moussa Diallo, who has seven goals to his name.

Previous Meetings.

A brace from Ashley Tatler and goals from Sid Abbott and Rob White ensured we kept the three points from our encounter in August.

Squad News.

With a few knocks picked up against Beeston St Anthonys last weekend, Manager Dan Marshall will have to see which players are available for this match. Striker Ash Tatler will be looking to get into double figures, being one short, and goalkeeper Jonty Smith will be looking for only his second clean sheet this season.
