The Plate Cup Champions take to Barr Field on Sunday intent on starting their assault on the Championship with three points!

The visitors are York Corinthians, and the match has a 2 pm kick-off time. The MET app shows sunny spells and slight cloud accompanying the game.

Always a tricky opponent to play against, York Corinthians carry threats all over the pitch, and Rangers will have to be alert throughout the game.

The two times that the teams met last season ended up in high scoring games with Rangers winning 5-1 at Barr Field (McHale, Stapleton, C.Macdonald, A.Tasker and Gore) but losing 6-1 in the return fixture (own goal)

Joint Managers Steve Smith and Rob Stabler should have a good squad to choose from, and they will be looking to put a strong starting eleven out.
