Following a good result last weekend, our Reserves now find themselves in prime position to break into the top three, but they are up against a side that beat them 5-1 just after Christmas!
The game is to be played at Altofts Community Sports club and has a kick-off time of 2:30pm. Looking at the weather app, it seems to indicate that sunny intervals and a moderate breeze will be in the air!
Our hosts find themselves in mid table territory at the moment, but are coming into this game on the back of two defeats, including a heavy 5-0 one last weekend to Ilkley Town Reserves. Their home form isn’t half bad with five wins, two draws and four defeats. Goal wise, they have scored 27, which is the sixth highest home record in the league. They do appear to have slight problems in defence as they have conceded 22, which is the sixth highest home record as well!
A quick glance in the direction of the FA goalscorers chart shows that Nathan Jarvis is the man to watch as he has scored 15 in total already. We should remember this player, as he scored a hat-trick against us at Barr Field!
The referee for this match will be Mr Daniel Gawthorpe. Mr Gawthorpe has been in charge of five other games and assisted in a further four. In his solo outings he has, according to the F.A. site issued eight yellow cards and a single red one.
Should you wish to come and watch this match, the the address that you will need is Altofts Community Sports Club, Lock Lane, Altofts, WF6 2QJ.
