Preview - Boroughbridge AFC Reserves

It's the opening match for our Reserves on Monday.

It’s the turn of our Reserve team to take centre stage on Monday night as they travel over to the Sports Pavilion to take on Boroughbridge Reserves in their opening West Yorkshire Association Football League Alliance Division Two match.

The game has a 6:30pm kick-off time and looking at the weather app, it may well be a wet evening as light to moderate rain showers are forecast.

Boroughbridge are always a difficult team to play and this encounter will be no different. Last season they finished 8th in this division, and they will certainly be looking to improve on that his time around. Last time the two teams met, the game shared six goals and it was Danny Gore, Josh Large and substitute Phil Turner who got ours. It wasn’t a game for Joe Hudson to remember however as he was shown a red card!

The referee for this game will be Mr Daniel Gawthorpe.
