With that all-important first win under their belts, Deighton will look to push on with another good display and result against Pool AFC today (KO 2:30 pm) at Arthington Lane.
The Opposition.
With their midweek match against Otley Town abandoned, Pool will want to make up lost ground and move off bottom spot in the league.
So far, their only other game ended in a 1-0 defeat to G&C Hartshead on the opening day of the restart.
Past Meetings.
The last time that the team officially met was on the 9th February 2019 when we ran out 4-0 winners thanks to a brace from Danny Grannon and one each from Rob Holliday and Will Bates.
According to our database, we have met Pool AFC, Pool AFC Reserves, Pool St Wilfrids and their reserves at least 26 times with 15 victories going to us and 8 to Pool (Please note that these figures may be higher as several years worth of data is incomplete).
The Referee.
Mr Craig Salmons has the whistle for this match. This game is his fourth match as a referee since the restart. According to the FA website, he has shown four yellow cards only.
Team News.
Josh Bhandal sits this one out through suspension, as does (according to the FA Website) Pool's Andy Doey.
Manager Dan Marshall will hopefully welcome back players who were missing from Wednesday's game due to work commitments. However, to balance it out, several players are also absent from this match.
