It's another challenging league game for our Reserves this Saturday as they travel to play Sherburn White Rose Reserves.
The match starts at 2 pm and will be played in dry conditions.
Our Opponents.
Never an easy side to play, Sherburn have had a bit of a mixed season to date. At present they are in 7th position in the league table, and a win could lift them into fourth!
At home, they have four wins and two defeats. They have scored an impressive twenty-five goals (average 4.2 goals scored per home game) and conceded 7 (average 1.6 goals conceded per home game).
A look at the FA stats for the Alliance League Two shows that Sherburn's leading goalscorer at the moment is a tie between Mohamed Hoque and Kyle MacDonald, who have seven each. They are closely followed by Ryan Franks who has six.
Head To Head.
Since our return to the West Yorkshire leagues, we have played each other five times with four victories coming our way and one to Sherburn.
The last time the two teams met at Finkle Hill was in January. It was an action-packed game with a red card for Sherburn, but in the end, it was the hosts who took the honours with a 3-1 win (Danny Gore our scorer).
Team News For Rangers.
With the illness bug that struck last week still lingering around, there could be a few changes for Kris Macdonald's side. However, the Manager will be looking to put out a very competitive side to keep the pressure on leaders East End Park Reserves.
The Man In The Middle.
There is no designated official for this match with one being agreed upon by both clubs before kick-off.
