Our Second Team switches back to league action this Saturday with a trip over to Altofts Reserves.

The match has a scheduled 2:30 pm kick-off time, and the weather is forecast to be wet all day!

The Opposition.

Altofts are one and one point behind us in the league table. Out of the 14 games, they have played, they have won five, drawn once and lost eight. However, they have had a points adjustment by the FA and have 13 points out of a total of 42.

Our hosts have scored 23 times (averaging 1.6 goals scored per game), but they have conceded 40 (averaging 2.9 goals conceded per game). Thomas Lavin is their highest scorer with six goals in this campaign to press.

Past Meetings.

This match is the return fixture to the one that was played at Barr Field in October 2021 when we won 2-1.

Since our return back to the West Yorkshire leagues, we have met Altofts a total of six times (season 2019-2020 excluded) and have a 5:1 win advantage.

Squad News.

Last week saw the return of several key members of Kris Macdonald's squad, and the Gaffer is hoping that he will be able to name a few more for this game.

Dan Flynn may be available, although he will be assessed closer to the weekend by the management team.

Mr Nigel Stroud is the referee for this game. This match will be his first in charge this season.
