It's been quite a rollercoaster of a week for our Second-Team! Two games ended with a win against Hunslet but a defeat against Boroughbridge.

Thursday saw the news released that we had been awarded three points from our 5-2 defeat against Oxenhope Recreation due to them fielding an ineligible player.

Having moved up from twelfth to tenth place in the league table, we could, if other results go our way, move into eighth if we can beat Huddersfield Amateur 2nd's on Saturday.

The match has a 2:30 pm Kick-Off time at Barr Field. The MET app forecasts cloud with occasional sunny periods.

The Opposition.

Huddersfield come into this match off the back of a 3-3 draw against Oxenhope Recreation Reserves. They are currently in 13th place in the table with 16 points from a possible 60.

They have managed five wins, one draw and 14 defeats, with an 8-1 demolition of Aberford Albion being their best score. Overall, they have scored 38 goals (averaging 1.9 goals per game) and conceded 60 (averaging 3.0 goals per game).

Must Faye is their leading goalscorer with four goals in total. Behind him are Jevan Stones and James Greenwood, who have three and two goals, respectively.

Past Meetings.

This match is the second time that our two sides have met. Rangers ran out 3-2 winners in the first encounter, with goals from Liam Dean, Brandon Trower, and Matthew Lurcuck.

Squad News.

With just one injury picked up against Boroughbridge, Manager Kris Macdonald will aim to pick a similar side to the last two games. However, he may be without the duo of Jack Holliday and Connor Weal.
