Following the positive result against Knaresborough last Saturday, Rangers will be attempting to reach the third round of the League Cup this weekend as they travel to play Huddersfield LH AFC.

The kick-off is set for 2 pm, and the weather is forecast to be reasonably dry throughout the afternoon.

Our Opponents.

Our hosts play in Division 2 of the West Yorkshire League and are having a good season, lying in third place and just two points off top spot.

We certainly won't be taking our opponents lightly, as they have scored 27 times (averaging 1.9 goals per game) and have one of the meanest defences in their division, conceding 25 (averaging 1.7 goals per game).

Jordon Jaber is their leading goalscorer with an impressive 13 goals. Behind him with 10 is Niall Joseph.

Squad News.

Having missed the 2-2 draw against Knaresborough Town Reserves, goalkeeper Jonty Smith should be fit enough to resume his duties between the posts. James Flynn will be absent due to prior commitments, and we may see a familiar face return to the blue shirt!
