We welcome the return of football on Saturday as our Reserves travel to Casson Avenue, home of Tingley Athletic Reserves.

Kick-Off is 2 pm, and the MET weather app indicates that the game will be accompanied by sunny spells.

Spectators are allowed to watch this match but must comply with any COVID-19 restrictions that our hosts have in place, including the Government's "Rule Of Six."

Our hosts will be looking to improve on their tenth place with a win on Saturday. Three points would see them close the gap on East End Park Reserves.

At present, Tingley have one win from six games, scoring ten (five at home) and conceding twenty (ten at home)

Officially this will be the first meeting between the two teams due to the voiding of last season.

One player who won't be appearing for Tingley is Alexander Thompson who, according to the FA Full-Time website, is serving the final game of a three-match suspension.

Looking at Tingley's goalscoring statistics, it seems that Garath Hussain is the main threat at the moment with four goals to his name.

It's hard to say what team Manager Kris Macdonald will field for this match. At present, he's viewing all options and will make a decision soon. However, with several new players joining the club, we may see a few debuts made.
