It's an early derby treat on Saturday as our Reserves travel to The Ings to play neighbours Wetherby Athletic. Kick-off is 1 pm.

Spectators are welcome, but please follow the Covid-19 guidelines set out by both Wetherby Athletic and Wetherby Sports Association.

Wetherby Athletic.

With their acceptance back into the West Yorkshire Alliance League Division Two, it hopefully marks the start of a more settled period for Athletic's Reserves.

Following a year with no team, Wetherby reformed their Reserves last season and entered the Harrogate & District League.

It appears that they have played four pre-season matches, with wins coming against Kirklington FC (6-4) and Garforth LG FC (4-1), and defeats against Tadcaster Magnets Reserves (3-2) and Boroughbridge AFC Reserves (5-3).

One To Watch.

Not much is known about our opponents, but Sam Riley has scored on a couple of occasions so far.

Team News.

Manager Kris Macdonald will be hoping to get his side firing on all cylinders again following a run of defeats. With several players available for selection again, it should be a strong team that takes to the pitch.
