Having climbed into third place in the table, Rangers will be hoping to keep their upward momentum going when they take on Salts FC at Barr Field on Saturday (KO 2:30 pm).
The Opposition.
Salts have had a good start to this mini-season and are one place behind us in the league. They have won two of their four games (Otley Town and East End Park) and have also drawn one against Rawdon Old Boys.
A look at the FA Website shows that Alexander Stewart is their leading goalscorer with three goals to his credit.
Past Meetings.
With Covid voiding many fixtures, this is officially the first time that we have met, although the encounter last season is probably best forgotten as we lost 5-1, Charlie Yates on target for us.
The Referee.
Mr Peter Walker comes to Barr Field as the referee. This match will be his sixth in charge so far, and looking at his statistics, it appears that while he has shown three yellow cards, he hasn't dismissed anyone yet.
Team News.
Manager Dan Marshall will take his time in seeing which of his team are available, so team news isn't available at the moment. We know that Josh Bhandal remains suspended. However, Joe Barden and Luke Dubery could come back into the team, having missed the Aberford win due to work commitments.
