After their last-minute heartbreak against Altofts FC Reserves last weekend, our Second-Team returns to Barr Field this Saturday to face Headingley Reserves.

The match has a 2:30 pm kick-off time, and a look at the weather shows that there may be some rain around.

The Opposition.

Headingley Reserves come into this match two positions above us in tenth place. Sitting with 14 points (one more than us) courtesy of four wins, three draws and three defeats, they have scored 26 goals so far, averaging 2.6 goals per game. Down the other end, they have conceded 22 times which averages 2.2 goals per game.

Away from their Weetwood home ground, they have gained 11 of these points with three wins, two draws and a couple of defeats.

Mark Freeman leads their goalscoring charts with six goals. Merlyn Andrews, Sam Bowers and Adam Jarrett follow him with five goals apiece this season.

This game appears to be the first time the two sides have met.

Squad News.

Despite the result, Manager Kris Macdonald was pleased with his team's performance last week, so we may well see the same lineup, bar late injuries or withdrawals, take to the pitch on Saturday.
