Hopefully, the weather will be kind to us tomorrow as our Second-Team look to host Horbury Town Reserves in the second round of the West Yorkshire League Trophy.
The match has a scheduled 2 pm kick-off time, and it looks like (according to the MET office) it will be a very wet and windy afternoon!
The Opposition.
Having faced and lost to Horbury Town a month or so ago, we know they are a top-quality side who like to play attacking football. In the First Round of this competition, they beat Shelley Reserves 2-1, with Luke Haigh and Tom Mee scoring.
Previous Meetings.
As mentioned before, we met Horbury for the first time on the 28th of October in the league and lost 4-0. However, this is a cup match, and League form counts for little.
Squad News.
The three weeks of no football has at least allowed several players who were carrying knocks the chance to recover. However, manager Kris Macdonald will still be missing up to eleven players due to other commitments including Connor Weal and and James Harrison.
Match Official.
Mr Skander Gadaleta is the referee for this game. This match will be his seventh in charge this season. We hope that he has a pleasant time at Barr Field.
Media.
KDRAFC Media will be present at this game. Please see our Twitter feed for match updates.
